Twelve shared flies, one public multiplier that only climbs, and a switch to another fly while yours is alive.

The round

Betting
Bets are open for 6 seconds before the launch (the room default; each room can set 3 to 20 seconds). A position sits on a fly: the one the player taps, or a random live one.
Live
The round runs in beats, about 1.74 s each at the start and down to 0.5 s. Every beat the multiplier takes one step up a public ladder, the same for every fly and known in advance (1.041x, 1.084x, 1.129x, …), and the frog's tongue may take flies. A player can enter while the round runs, on a live fly, at the current ladder value.
Switch
While its fly is alive, a position can move to another live fly: up to 3 switches per position, free, one expiring every 8 beats. Every switch is shown to the whole room and recorded in the command ledger.
End
At a beat drawn from the seed the frog goes into a frenzy: its eyes turn white, it opens its mouth wide and sucks every fly still alive into it. The round ends for everyone, and every open position loses. When the ladder reaches its ceiling, positions on live flies are cashed out automatically.
Results
The results stay on screen for 3.5 seconds, the revealed seed included, and the next betting window opens.

Bets and cash-out

A stake between the room's minimum and maximum, in the operator's currency. Up to 3 positions open at once, on the same fly or on different ones.

A cash-out pays the stake times the ladder value at that beat, over the value at entry for a mid-round entry. A position whose fly is taken by the tongue loses.

Automatic orders

Take profit only, executed by the server at every beat. The ladder only climbs, so there is nothing for a stop loss to catch.

Where the margin is taken

At the default RTP of 97%, every fly is taken by the tongue at the launch (beat 0) with probability exactly 3%: positions placed before the launch pay the margin there. A mid-round entry pays it as a spread on entry — its payout is multiplied by the RTP. Switching flies costs nothing and never changes the expected return. The expected return is the same for every exit strategy: see Math and RTP.

What sets it apart

  • Switching is a social move, not a math move: every fly carries the same odds, and the room sees where the crowd migrates.
  • What is random is which flies survive and when the frenzy comes — not how much a beat is worth.

Volatility figures: 60,000 simulated rounds of generator hf-0.1.0 at the default RTP, per fly, not per shared round; the median round length over 300,000, because it sits on the boundary between two beats. Simulation results are not certification and not a guarantee of individual returns.

Limits and configuration

The defaults above are per room and configurable: RTP, minimum and maximum stake, maximum win per position, maximum exposure per round, and the betting window (3 to 20 seconds). An operator's own limits can only tighten a room's, never raise them. The full list is in the integration guide.

Fairness

Every round is committed before betting opens and derived from the committed seed with generator hf-0.1.0; the same generator runs in demo and real-money rooms. How to check a round: Provably fair.
